Dr. Stephen Zunes, is a professor of politics and international studies at the University of San Francisco, where he serves as coordinator of the program in Middle Eastern Studies. Dr. Zunes is one the countryâs leading scholars of U.S. Middle East policy and of strategic nonviolent action. Recently and wrote the piece âThereâs No Evidence Iran Is Responsible for the Deaths of Hundreds Americansâ, we can be assured that Trumpâs wars in the region have resulted in untold death and destruction and undermine democratic movements.
