The Canadian government continues to increase its military spending, including billions on F-35 fighter jets that have no clear use. At the same time, government uses austerity to justify cuts to health care, pensions, culture, food safety and environmental research and reviews. Ellen Judd and Sandra Gessler, members of Peace Alliance Winnipeg, talk about military spending, the austerity budget, and Canadian military missions in Afghanistan and Haiti.
