Kalifa Touré and Robin Poulton describe the 2012 coup d’état in Mali and the aftermath. Touré founded Cri De Couer to help shell shocked children and families find a place of safety and solace, providing food, shelter and medical care, including trauma psychology. Poulton is an international negotiator who live with his family in Mali and now works with NGOs to improve infrastructure and cultural understanding in Mali.
