African countries are beginning to pull out from the International Criminal Court [ICC] because of the court's fixation on arresting African heads-of-state. The ICC is controlled by the Washington/London/Paris axis. George Bush and Tony Blair have never been called before it.

Veteran lawyer David Jacobs explains how the ICC has diverged from the mainstream trend of international law into Washington's punitive instrument designed to criminalize opposition to U.S. hegemony, and prevent negotiation with governments that are inconvenient to Washington.
