There are FOUR versions of this plenary on the R4A server:
Version 1: The full plenary (01:25:54) optimized for RADIO PLAY (-24 LUFS Mp3).
Version 2: A 58 minute RADIO READY edit (-24 LUFS Mp3). Includes my intro and outro.
Version 3: The full plenary optimized for INDIVIDUAL USE (-19 LUFS Mp3). Identical content to Version 1, but a louder file encoded at a lower bitrate so it uses less storage space on your device.
Version 4: A 58 minute edit optimized for INDIVIDUAL USE (-19 LUFS Mp3). Identical content to Version 2, but a louder file encoded at a lower bitrate so it uses less storage space on your device.

The battery in my wireless transmitter died about 7 minutes into Mel Underbakkke's speech, so the last 3 minutes or so of her speech is missing. My fault. But I made it sound more or less like that was the end of her speech anyway.
---
In the interest of not limiting the scope of radio play, I silenced or omitted the occasional potentially offensive words present in this audio.

Would you like to:
1. Download all or part of the Essential Dissent archive via my OneDrive account?
2. Access my audio in .wav format, which is preferred if you want the highest quality and if you do your own edits for later conversion to .mp3 format?
3. Download earlier episodes that have disappeared from R4A?
4. Access extras such as conference brochures which give more detailed information re the presenters and sponsoring organizations?
Send an email to wvought at gmail dot com, requesting the archive link. Include R4A in the subject line.
If you’re affiliated with a radio station, please tell me your radio station’s call letters and the name of your show. If you’re a podcaster, please tell me the name of your podcast. And if you’re an end user who just wants to stream or download some interesting audio, that’s cool too.
The link will give you access to the Essential Dissent archive (including all subsequent episodes) for as long as the archive is available on my OneDrive account. (But if I ever decide to change the link, I will send you the new one.)
A big advantage of this system is that if radio4all ever becomes totally non-functional, I’ll still be able to post new episodes to the archive, I’ll be able to notify you when I do so, and you’ll still be able to download them.
You are welcome to share the link with others, but since I will then not have their email address, they will not receive such notifications.
No spam, no fee, no BS. You can ask that your email be removed from my list at any time, and I will do so promptly.
