In this broadcast, a conversation with Zion Dyson, a student at the New England Conservatory of Music, scheduled to graduate in 2023, with an undergraduate degree in jazz vocal performance, with a concentration in music education; as well as pianist, keyboardist, and composer Ted Kooshian. Kooshian, whose new Summit Records release, Hubub! is out now, will perform with his quintet and the Ed Palmero Big Band at The Falcon in Marlboro, NY on October 29. Plus, music from bassist Mali Obomsawin and guitarist Steve Knight.
