In the intersection of 49ty and Burke in Seattle's
Wallingfor neighborhood is a painted ladybug that
takes up the entire intersection. What is that about?
It's the City Repair project. It started in Portland Oregon
and has spread across the US and Canada.

This is a unique form of community building that gets
to the core of city life - that cities should support people as
as citizens who participate in the life of the city beyond
