This is the full 7-19-10 episode of the Labor Express Radio program.
On this weeks episode of Labor Express Radio we start a two part focus on the state of the U.S. economy. As the Obama administration is celebrating itâs victory in passing âso-calledâ financial regulatory reform, we find little improvement in the economic condition of the vast majority of Americans, especially the tens of millions who remain unemployed or underemployed. And many economists are now forecasting that a double dip recession is just around the corner.
On todayâs episode weâll hear from Dr. Jack Rasmus who has practically become the Labor Express resident economist. We have turned to Dr. Rasmus repeatedly during the past couple years to get a handle on the current economic crisis â its origins and what can be done about it.
Dr. Rasmus has a new book out called EPIC RECESSION: PRELUDE TO GLOBAL DEPRESSION. Will talk with Jack about the book and about the current state of the U.S. economy.
