On Thursday, April 28, prominent anti-capitalist activist Jaggi Singh had his date in court at Toronto's Old City Hall. On this day, Jaggi Singh pleaded guilty to urging people to take down the $5-million G20 summit fence erected in downtown Toronto in June 2010. He was officially charged with "counselling to commit mischief over $5,000." In this exclusive interview with journalist Carmelle Wolfson, Jaggi speaks about his charges, the plea entered and the criminalization of dissent in Canada.
