This episode features Noura Erakat - human rights attorney and writer, Teaching Fellow at Temple University, Beasley School of Law and member of Legal Support Network for the Badil Center for Palestinian Refugee and Residency Rights. Also a cofounder of Arab Women Arising for Justice (AMWAJ) and board member of the Institute for Policy Studies (IPS), and the Trans-Arab Research Institute (TARI); a Policy Advisor of Al-Shabaka Also featured is Noura Erakat in conversation with Angela Davis - Political activist, scholar, and author, Black Power leader in 1960s, political prisoner in the 1970s, Founder of Critical Resistance, an organization working to abolish the prison-industrial complex, Radical feminist, Marxist and lesbian, Vice Presidential candidate for the Communist Party in 1990s, and a Professor in the California university system since the 1970s.
