This week's Global Research News Hour presents excerpts from the Winnipeg talk, sponsored by a number of local groups to address the implications of the U.S. Administration's decision to relocate its embassy to the Holy City of Jerusalem. Representatives of the three great faith traditions of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, all of which have unique ties to the city, were called upon to comment on this development. Speakers at the event included Esther Epp-Thiessen, a representative of the Mennonite Central Committee, Rabbi David Mivasair of Independent Jewish Voices, Idris Elbakri, a Palestinian -Canadian of the Muslim faith, and Fadi Ennab, a Palestinian - Canadian of the Christian faith.
